Harleyford - Tuesday 6th September

Discovering Harleyford Golf Clubfor the first time is like uncovering a hidden treasure!
Beautifully crafted in a natural downland setting, the 6,903 yard par 72 course is both challenging and rewarding to players of all levels.
Another early September busy field with over 150 golfers taking part. Lovely to see today so many ladies in the field, our biggest lady turnout of the season!
A terrible forecast of thunder, rain and lightening was greeted with an almost dry day until the latter stages where we had a-few sharpe showers. All in all a lucky day considering the initial forecast.
The best dressed competition was won easily by some unbelievably colourful golfers Stacey Herridge and Aleck fletcher.
Nearest the pin on the HIO 12th hole was inches from an ace and was won by Chris Searle! Not many events left now guys to claim the big prize.
With wet fairways the longest drive hole 13 didn’t produce the usual firm bounce and lots of runout. However Naz and Sally still managed to hit 2 cracking tee shots.
